We’re here to build a community, we are a golf club, an indoor golf club. A big part of that will be our F&B offering, think great coffee, a small bar offering and a great community around it all.
The Role
Our F&B manager needs to be experienced, enthusiastic and ready to be part of the community. They will lead the day-to-day operations of our specialist coffee shop and manage staff and inventory for our evening time Bar offering.
A passion for good coffee is a must as you’ll play a key role in shaping the coffee offering as well as the surrounding F&B offering. You’ll manage a small team with energy, warmth and community and be ready to be part of the community at Tempo Golf Club.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, thrives on responsibility, and is passionate about hospitality, team culture, and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Coffee Shop and Bar operations, ensuring smooth service throughout the day and into the evening.
- Recruit, train, and manage the F&B team, creating a positive and professional environment.
- Develop and maintain food and drinks menus in collaboration with our Suppliers.
- Monitor stock, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health & safety.
- Oversee all processes and systems, including basic financial reporting.
- Manage Weekly Rotas.
- Work closely with the other Teams, including the Golf team to support any bookings or events.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every guest feels welcome and well looked after.
About You
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar management role (bar, café, or restaurant).
- Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
- A passion for coffee and desire to create and deliver a top quality coffee offering.
- Barista experience and passion for coffee essential.
- Passionate about food, drink, and creating a distinguished and personal guest experience.
- Comfortable working across café and bar settings.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident using stock systems and basic reporting tools.
