Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and conscientious individual who has a strong desire to forge a career in cyber security. You will assist with work across a range of client facing projects, large and small, and will contribute to winning new business and managing delivery. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a keen interest in the cyber security profession and a strong desire to learn through doing. Your key responsibilities will be based around supporting our different existing and new CA&R Services capabilities as required. This could require traveling to and working in different parts of the UK for periods of time. As a secondary responsibility, you will be required to support the technical cyber security activities needed for CDS DS internal information systems used to handle, process and store classified information. This will involve working with our existing internal IT and Cyber Security resources to add value to your development and the CA&R Services provided to customers.

- An excellent verbal and written communicator.
- High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to provide high-quality work under pressure that delivers security outcomes to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team member in a multi-disciplined organisation.
- An understanding of the principles of cyber defence, cyber offence, threat detection and monitoring technologies and services.
- Flexibility to travel and work throughout the UK.
- Ambition to work in a challenging and rewarding role that provides real benefit to clients.
- A proactive interest in maintaining and enhancing technical and consultancy skills.
Professional Qualifications, Certifications and Security Clearances
- Three A Levels, including maths and a technical or science-based subject, or; Relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications.
- Security Clearance (or the agreement and ability to undergo and maintain such).
