About Us: BAILEY-WAREHAM LIMITED is an established engineering company specialising in precision engineering and the manufacture of our own products. Due to increasing workload, we are seeking a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our friendly family-run business in Poole, Dorset.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes and programming where appropriate. The right candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and be fully competent to work independently as well as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate a variety of CNC machine tools with FANUC control system.
- Review and edit existing programs accordingly.
- Perform dry runs and produce ‘first offs’.
- Read, understand, and work to engineering drawings.
- Perform associated tasks and multi-skills.
- Maintain a flexible approach and attitude.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in operating and setting machine tools with FANUC control system.
- Set up CNC lathes (ability to review and edit CNC programs).
- Competence in performing dry runs and producing first-off components.
- Skilled in using shop floor inspection equipment.
- Ability to perform various associated tasks and demonstrate multi-skills.
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
