Our Replenishment Centre plays a crucial role in keeping production moving by ensuring the right parts and materials are delivered from our warehouse to the production lines. The team works with speed, accuracy, and organisation to make sure everything is in place when it’s needed, helping the wider manufacturing operation run smoothly and efficiently.
Specific Responsibilities
- Measure, perform visual inspection, and verify against engineering specifications and approved master samples using jigs, fixtures, measurement tools, and AQL-based sampling.
- Identify products requiring inspection and manage nonconformances.
- Communicate internally and support KPI tracking.
- Ensure correct storage and control of master samples.
Requirements
- Incoming Goods Inspection: Inspect a targeted sample against product drawings, technical specifications and approved master samples. Identify which deliveries require inspection using AQL sampling methodology. Use appropriate jigs, fixtures, and measurement tools for dimensional inspections. Perform visual inspections for defects, finish quality, packaging condition, labelling accuracy. Document all inspection findings clearly and accurately within quality systems.
- Master Sample Management: Verify incoming goods against approved master samples for fit, form, colour, finish and overall quality. Maintain a controlled master sample library with correct labelling, version control and secure storage. Ensure master samples are protected from damage, contamination or deterioration. Update master samples promptly when design changes or supplier revisions occur.
- Non‑Conformance Management: Identify, quarantine and document non‑conforming goods. Raise detailed Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) with measurements, photographic evidence, defect descriptions. Support root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and follow‑up with suppliers and internal teams. Ensure rejected, reworked or suspect stock is correctly segregated and tracked.
Communication: Strong understanding of measurement techniques and inspection tools; knowledge of AQL sampling methodology; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; competence in documentation, reporting and digital quality systems.
Personal Attributes: Methodical, accurate, detail-focused; strong communicator with suppliers and internal teams; proactive attitude toward identifying and solving quality issues; capable of working independently or as part of a wider team.
Financial: Maternity pay (24 weeks full pay followed by 15 weeks statutory pay) and Paternity pay (2 weeks full pay). Longer weekends as a result of an early finish every Friday (role dependent).
