A well-established, highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding Private Client department. This is a key hire as the team grows — ideal for someone who enjoys high-quality client work and is happy to support, mentor and help shape a busy team.
The role
You’ll manage a broad caseload of private client matters, typically including:
- Wills (including complex wills)
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and related advisory work
- IHT planning / estate planning (depending on experience)
There is also scope to take on supervisory/management responsibilities (preferred but not essential) and to play a part in the continued development of the department.
Location & working pattern
You can be based from any of their offices (including Wakefield, Wetherby, Horsforth and Selby). The whole Private Client department meets in Dewsbury every Tuesday, so you must be able to attend Dewsbury on Tuesdays. Hybrid working is available (typically 1–2 days from home).
