A well-established, highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (2–6 PQE) to join its growing claimant Clinical Negligence team. This is a strong opportunity to work on quality, genuinely interesting cases with the right level of support, alongside solicitors who know the work inside out.
The role
- You’ll manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, with support available on the more complex issues and litigation strategy.
- Work is likely to include:
- Pre-action investigations and case analysis
- Obtaining and reviewing medical records and expert evidence
- Drafting Letters of Claim/Response and advising on liability, breach, causation and quantum
- Negotiation and settlement, with litigation where required
- Maintaining excellent client care throughout (these cases matter to people)
What they’re looking for
- 2–6 years’ PQE (or equivalent fee-earning experience) in clinical negligence / claimant PI with strong clin neg exposure
- Confident running files with appropriate supervision
- Good drafting and attention to detail
- Calm, practical approach and strong client-handling skills
