Our client, a well-established law firm in Newcastle, is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support 2 fee earners within its busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with conveyancing support experience who is looking to join a friendly and supportive firm in a stable, office-based role.
The Role
- You will provide day-to-day support to 2 fee earners, assisting with a busy residential conveyancing caseload and helping matters progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
- Supporting 2 fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
- Using their case management system
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- Opening files and assisting with general conveyancing administration
- Helping to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and accurately
About You
- Have previous experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or similar support role
- Be confident using case management systems
- Be well organised with good attention to detail
- Have strong communication and client care skills
- Be able to work well in a busy team environment
Hours
The firm would prefer full-time hours, 9am–5pm, but will also consider part-time applicants working a minimum of 3 days per week.
