Our client, a well-regarded law firm in North Leeds, is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor at NQ to 1 year PQE level to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to build their career in employment law within a supportive firm handling good quality work. The role will be full-time office based initially, during the probation period, with hybrid working in future following successful completion of probation.
The Role
- You will assist with and manage a range of employment law matters, with work likely to include:
- Settlement agreements
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Advising on a range of employment law issues
- Handling initial client enquiries and converting these into instructions
- Supporting clients with confidence and professionalism throughout their matter
About You
- The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Employment Solicitor at NQ to 1 PQE level
- Have gained exposure to employment law during training or post-qualification
- Ideally have some employment litigation experience
- Be confident dealing with clients and initial enquiries
- Be commercially aware and able to help convert enquiries into new work
- Be keen to develop their career within employment law
