A well-established, highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding Private Client department. This is a key hire as the team grows — ideal for someone who enjoys high-quality client work and is happy to support, mentor and help shape a busy team.
The role involves managing a broad caseload of private client matters, typically including:
- Wills (including complex wills)
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and related advisory work
- IHT planning / estate planning (depending on experience)
There is also scope to take on supervisory/management responsibilities (preferred but not essential) and to play a part in the continued development of the department.
Location & working pattern:
- You can be based from any of their offices (including Wakefield, Wetherby, Horsforth and Selby).
- The whole Private Client department meets in Dewsbury every Tuesday, so you must be able to attend Dewsbury on Tuesdays.
- Hybrid working is available (typically 1–2 days from home).
