The Role:
We are looking for a Private Client Fee Earner with 2-5 years PQE to manage a varied caseload of private client matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the continued success of their well-regarded firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
Advising clients on a wide range of private client matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration, and Inheritance Tax planning.
Drafting legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
Managing client relationships with empathy and professionalism.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with professional referrers.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
For the right candidate, there is also the potential to specialise in Trusts, allowing you to deepen your expertise in this complex and rewarding area of law.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in Private Client law.
A solid understanding of Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, and Inheritance Tax planning.
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and to deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client care skills, demonstrating sensitivity and discretion.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in case management systems and IT.
A proactive, organised, and empathetic approach to your work.
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
A genuine interest in developing a specialism in Trust law (desirable but not essential).
