About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in shaping the future of work building human-centred learning solutions and playing a core part in a growing team.

Our consultants are responsible for building strong relationships, working individually and as a team to develop practical, evidence-based, and profitable solutions for our clients. They will work closely with the client account and customer success managers.

Day to day activities could include…

Client relationship management

  • Proactively engage and build strong commercial relationships with multiple client stakeholders daily, seeking to understand and influence new opportunities and providing valued insight into people and organisational strategy
  • Lead and coordinate the response to client RFPs and tenders either directly where there are existing relationships or via our managed service partnerships
  • Be the first point of contact for clients with questions on detail/research behind our solutions and responding to questions on tailored solutions
  • Proactively manage senior stakeholder relationships throughout the preparation, design, and delivery phases of a programme
  • Responding to, building, and presenting solutions/proposals as well as helping develop strong business cases and supporting the client with internal influencing/communications
  • Staying close to workshop evaluation (session feedback and impact evaluation) to liaise with the client and action any changes that may be required
  • Identifying and exploring future programmes and opportunities by building strong relationships and asking exploratory questions with clients
  • Support lead consultants on larger programmes for continued growth and development
  • Role-modelling our solutions in everything we do, being the change we want to make in the world both with our team and our clients

Solution design

  • Lead client discovery meetings to uncover their needs, wants and pains and getting clarity on successful solutions would look and feel like
  • Lead introductory, discovery and co-design calls or meetings, working in collaboration with client account and programme managers to scope, design, and price solutions.
  • Collaborate with client account and customer success manager as well as other consultants to think about and develop simple, practical, evidence-based, and commercially aware solutions.
  • Work to understand and suggest best methods of evaluation both for client information/business case/ROI and marketing purposes (this may include PsyCap or Emotional Intelligence scoring, facilitator observations of participants, pulse checks, rating scores from physical products and more).
  • Responsible for working with the programme manager to select, brief and upskill design/ delivery team associates
  • Attending and/or facilitating workshops where strategic relationships are important to the future growth and development of client account
  • Where required, tailor workshop slides, creating/updating facilitator notes and client communications
  • Keeping on top of our solutions, latest research and industry trends to guide the client based on their needs, considerations and strategic objectives, challenging current ways of working and supporting communication to multiple stakeholders
  • Suggesting new solutions based on themes within multiple client organisations
  • Regular support of our marketing team, feeding in client insights and engaging ideas, delivering webinars, appearing in videos, writing blogs and other content to strengthen our lead generation

About you:

Knowledge:

  • At least degree level education (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Psychology / Positive Psychology / Organisational Psychology
  • At least 2 years previous experience in a Consulting / Business Psychology role working alongside clients and supporting more senior consultants to deliver programmes of all sizes from team away days to 18+ month, international, multi-solution programmes
  • Genuine interest and curiosity in the latest workplace and psychology trends
  • Experience with HubSpot, TeamWork, MS Teams, Zoom, and Office 365 is ideal but not essential.

  • Ability to speak commercially with clients about their challenges and how this links to their bottom-line/strategic direction
  • Can confidently challenge and apply their knowledge to provide meaningful and impactful solutions for clients
  • Demonstrates application of positive psychology in the way they work
  • Ability to build strong client relationships across multiple stakeholders of the client organisation
  • Strong discovery and ability to identify root causes of client pains
  • Presentation and proposal/tender writing
  • Ability to collaboratively engage, clearly articulate and inspire a client with a solution
  • Ability to challenge effectively while maintaining strong relationships
