We are seeking an experienced and electrically qualified Pump Engineer to join our growing team covering the Newcastle and Durham areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to join a supportive business offering strong career prospects and a competitive benefits package.
The Role
As a Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of pumping systems. You will play a key role in ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely while delivering high-quality service to customers. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and support a dedicated trainee, contributing to the development of future talent within the business.
Essential Requirements
- Proven industry experience working with pumping systems
- Electrical qualification (essential)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Working Hours
- Basic salary from £36,000 (depending on experience)
- 40hr working week, Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- On-call rota: To be agreed (flexible and subject to discussion)
- Overtime paid at: 1.5x Monday to Friday, double time for weekends and overnight work
- Bonus scheme
- 30 days holiday
