Drainage Engineer -Basic salary £35,000–£45,000 -45 hour working week -1 in 4 weekend call-out rota -Overtime rates up to x1.5 -Career progression within a growing business The Role We are an established building services and drainage business providing a wide range of maintenance and drainage solutions to commercial customers across the South. Working across a varied portfolio of commercial contracts, we deliver services including drainage maintenance, CCTV drain surveys, high-pressure water jetting, drain clearance and drain repairs, supporting customers across sectors including airports, healthcare, hospitality and rail. We are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to carry out reactive repairs, planned maintenance and drainage investigations across a range of commercial sites. Key Responsibilities * Carry out drainage maintenance, repairs and fault-finding * Undertake CCTV drain surveys and identify drainage issues * Complete high-pressure water jetting and drain clearance * Respond to reactive breakdowns and attend customer sites as required * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and ensure work is completed to a high standard * Identify faults, diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions Skills & Experience * Previous experience as a Drainage Engineer is essential * Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, maintenance and repairs * Experience with CCTV drain surveys and high-pressure water jetting * Full UK driving licence Benefits Package * £35,000–£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience * 45-hour working week, Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm * 1 in 4 weekend call-out rota * £25 per day standby allowance when on call * Overtime paid at 1.3x Monday – Friday * Overtime paid at 1.5x Saturday and Sunday * Company van, fuel card and uniform provided * Travel time paid for journeys exceeding 1.5 hours * Opportunities for career progression within a growing business
