Baguley Athletic Football Club are looking for a VOLUNTEER Head of Female Football & Development.
The Heart of the Role ❤️ Baguley Athletic is more than just a club; we are a family. As we look to the future, we are committed to providing a high-quality, inclusive, and competitive environment for girls and women in football.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a long‑term strategy to increase participation across all female age groups.
- Mentor and support existing coaches within the female section, ensuring a consistent and positive philosophy across the teams.
- Lead initiatives to attract new players, coaches, and volunteers to the girls' and women's sections.
- Act as the primary ambassador for female football at Baguley Athletic, building links with local schools, the FA, and community partners.
- Create a seamless transition for players moving from youth football into open‑age/senior squads.
- Ensure all female teams operate within FA guidelines and maintain the high standards of the Baguley Athletic ethos.
Who We Are Looking For 👀
- Proven background in football coaching or sports development (FA Level 2/UEFA C preferred).
- Ability to inspire volunteers and lead a diverse group of players and coaches.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking to parents, players, and the committee.
- A "big picture" thinker who can see the potential in our club and isn’t afraid to build it.
- Must hold (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding certifications.
