Trainee Sales Representative Bagnalls are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join us in our Wolverhampton Branch You will undergo a comprehensive training programme on all aspects of the Sales Representative role which will enable you to positively engage with customers, identify new business opportunities and grow your skills. Ideally, you will have a good academic background, a natural ability to build relationships with customers and sound commercial awareness. As part of this role you will study for an NVQ Level 4 – Sales account executive qualification. Here at Bagnalls we are more interested in the calibre and potential of the individual as opposed to your background so previous experience in a like for like position is not essential. This role will incorporate a level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship which we will fund and give you the time and support to complete. Responsibilities Cultivating and developing relationships with via phone and email. Booking appointments with prospective clients over the phone and face to face. Working closely with Contract Managers to identify and grow new business. Maintaining relationships with new customers, for an agreed period, over the phone and using our bespoke customer relationship management system Producing Case Studies of completed projects. Maintaining database of PPQ information, Certificates & Accreditation. Involvement withCommunity Paintbrush/social value activities. Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Client Portal management. Essential Criteria Excellent telephone manner and strong verbal communication skills Drive, determination, and tenacity. Good standard of written English Confidence to build relationships at many levels including with senior decision makers. Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn to use an in-house system. Ability to learn about all aspects of the business quickly and communicate this information effectively to others. Knowledge of using social media Minimum 5 GCSEs A-C including English.
