The Role:
As an IT Support Technician Apprentice, you'll have the chance to gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You'll be responsible for providing first-line IT support, assisting with hardware and software configurations, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the business. As part of your apprenticeship, you'll undertake an Information Communications Technical Level 3 course, with full training and support provided.
Your Responsibilities:
- IT Support
- Provide first-line IT support and escalate issues when necessary
- Monitor, prioritise, and log support tickets
- Offer remote assistance to users when required
- Handle hardware faults and provide solutions
- Hardware Support
- Set up and configure loan equipment, desk phones, smartphones, printers, and other ICT devices
- Manage asset tracking for all hardware across the business
- Software Support
- Ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft 365 and other business-critical software
- Support additional software as required by the business
- Branch Support
- Install and troubleshoot new equipment at branches
- Resolve branch IT issues remotely or on-site
- ICT Projects & Documentation
- Assist with ICT projects across the business
- Maintain up-to-date IT documentation
