We currently have vacancies for groundworkers at our Minor Civils business based in Ripley, Derbyshire.

You: We are looking for people who are skilled in groundworks and minor civils but can undertake a variety of practical skills in a commercial environment. The work will be predominantly in the utilities sector. We ask that you have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Essential Criteria:
- Current CSCS Card.
- Relevant trade experience.
- Commitment to providing the highest standards of workmanship and health and safety.
- Able to give excellent service to all our customers.
- Full driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to sites throughout the East Midlands and sometimes further afield.
- Desirable Criteria:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in one or more skills.
- EUSR Utility Excavations Category 1, Locate Utility Services (HSG47).
- EUSR Utility Excavations Category 2, Implement Safe (Digging) Excavating Practices.
- Plant training e.g., excavator, dumper, roller etc (NPORS / CPCS).
- Asbestos Awareness.
- EUSR National Water Hygiene.
- EUSR SHEA Gas.
- Experience of working on utilities and commercial contracts.
Please note we will require two credible referees that can verify your workmanship.
Pay: Will be between £13.45 - £17.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
