Commercial Sales Executive
Are you a confident communicator, comfortable using your sales experience to attract new business?
The Role:
Celebrating our 150th birthday this year, Bagnalls is the leading painting and decorating contractor in the UK.
Salary:
We offer a competitive basic salary of £25,553 plus achievable uncapped commissions.
Hours:
39 hours per week.
Location:
This role is based in our North East branch in Gateshead, in a modern, purpose-built office.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new target customers through research, including social media.
- Build relationships with new and previous customers to secure repeat business.
- Understand customer needs to effectively communicate Bagnalls\’ services.
- Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
- Manage the customer database.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Criteria:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Previous sales experience (telephone/B2B preferred).
- Confidence in building relationships with senior decision makers.
- Friendly telephone manner.
- Good written English skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn in-house database systems.
- Quick learner about all aspects of the business.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in the construction industry.
