The Role
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team, with a clear development route into a Finance Apprenticeship once you successfully complete the initial qualification. In this role you’ll build strong foundations in administration – developing essential skills in organisation, communication, and service delivery - while gaining insight into how our finance team operates. As you progress, you’ll take on more finance-focused tasks, preparing you to transition into a dedicated finance apprenticeship.
Your responsibilities:
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Handling phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
- Invoice processing – receiving, reviewing, and inputting supplier invoices.
- Supporting the Executive Assistant in coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and organising events.
- Gaining hands-on experience with various office software and systems.
What We’re Looking For
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated individual who is eager to learn and develop their skills in administration and finance. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Have a level 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English.
Salary: £19,747.00 per annum - Rising to the Real Living Wage following completion of your apprenticeship.

The first stage of the recruitment process will be a 15-minute telephone interview, and should this be successful, you may then be invited to a face-to-face interview on either Tuesday 24 February or Friday 27 February. This role is based at our head office in Cleckheaton BD19 4TY. You will benefit from free onsite parking, a dedicated wellbeing room and onsite gym.
