Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Deliver, exchange, and collect containers across customer sites.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and road laws.
- Work safely at all times and follow site, transport, and road regulations.
- Provide a professional and helpful service to customers on site.
- Support the wider transport and depot team at our Widnes site.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Proven experience driving HGVs, ideally within the waste management sector.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance.
- A reliable, professional approach with a commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturdays.
