My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices and delivery notes onto the system.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
- Credit control and cash allocation.
- Assist in the office by answering the telephone, communicate with customers and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and practices is advantageous.
