Our Opportunity

The BAFTA industry programme brings together leading creatives, emerging talent, games studios, indie production companies, game designers, BAFTA members and the public (in the future) for previews, talks, debates, masterclasses, and networking. We are seeking a Programmer to curate and deliver an exceptional programme of content that reflects the latest debates and challenges in the Games industry, aligns with our mission, and connects audiences across the industry and beyond.

The programmer will lead the planning and delivery of the creative programme, with a focus on high-impact panels, screenings, debates, and industry-focused events. This is a senior role requiring deep knowledge of the games industry, an excellent network of contacts, and a passion for creating; inspiring, inclusive, and forward-thinking conversations.

Who you are?

  • Someone with knowledge of the charitable sector and working with funders or public bodies (e.g., BFI, Arts Council, ScreenSkills).
  • Exceptional communicator with production and project management skills.
  • Someone with excellent knowledge of the UK and international screen industries, including emerging trends, talent, and debates.
  • Highly organised with project management skills.
  • A person with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines.
  • Someone with commitment to BAFTA and our impact on the wider industry.
