BAE Systems Digital Intelligence are expanding our User Experience team and are seeking a dynamic, experienced UX Designer with a enhanced DV clearance.

If you are dedicated to designing intuitive and impactful digital products through research and user-centered design, this role is for you. You will join a diverse team of designers creating world-class digital solutions for secure government customers.

Whether working as a UX Designer, a Lead UX/Service Designer or User Researcher, candidates are expected to apply User-Centred Design (UCD) methodologies across all phases of delivery—from research through to implementation—ensuring alignment between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create user-friendly, innovative design solutions that address complex challenges.
• Develop and present design concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and visual presentations.
• Evaluate and improve existing digital products with a focus on usability, inclusivity and accessibility.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions (e.g., interviews, usability testing, journey mapping).
• Lead and analyse usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and other user-centered design methods.
• Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and deliver business value.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior staff.
• Present design solutions to clients, backed by research and best practices.
• Advocate for user needs while aligning with business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design methods and tools.
• Proficient in design software such as Figma.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of our work, successful candidates for this role will be required to hold an active eDV before applying for this opportunity.
