Job title: Security and Investigations Lead (Edgewing) Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role. Salary: £53,211 Dependent of skills and experience What you\'ll be doing: Lead the setup, management, and ongoing monitoring of a security investigations framework to protect joint venture (JV) assets and data in line with applicable laws Conduct methodical and collaborative investigations into potential threats, including phishing attempts targeting Edgewing Develop and apply standard investigation procedures to ensure compliance with law enforcement and regulatory governance requirements Establish effective methods, procedures, and tools to support robust security investigations Ensure appropriate and timely implementation of remediation activities following investigation outcomes Your skills and experiences: Essential Previous investigative experience within a highly regulated environment Strong ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation, engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders through clear communication Manages individual areas of responsibility within projects, demonstrating accountability and a clear understanding of personal deliverables Desirable Previous experience in a law enforcement environment or collaborating with law enforcement agencies Holds a diploma or equivalent qualification in a security-related discipline Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Edgewing Security Assurance Team You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced team within the BAE Systems Air sector, committed to the delivery and progression of a Future Combat Air System (FCAS) for the UK. You will play a central role in working across a diverse stakeholder group of functional and delivery teams including tri national industry and government colleagues from across our partner nations to support the delivery of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).
