Role Description
We are seeking Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineers to support the deployment, integration, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise capabilities across both Microsoft Azure and on-premise environments.
Working closely with Microsoft, architects, delivery teams, and operational stakeholders, successful candidates will enable the transition of multiple capabilities into production, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned to architectural and security requirements.
The role requires engineers with strong experience across Azure cloud services, traditional infrastructure technologies, and hybrid environments, capable of operating within complex and secure environments spanning multiple tenants and security classifications.
- Core Duties
- Design, deploy, configure, and support Azure and on-premise infrastructure solutions.
- Support the onboarding, integration, and deployment of multiple capabilities into production environments.
- Work across multiple Azure tenants and hybrid environments to deliver secure and resilient services.
- Configure, manage, and support Azure services including compute, networking, storage, monitoring, security, and identity.
- Support the integration of Azure services with on-premise infrastructure, networks, and security controls.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C), automation, and deployment pipelines.
- Support environment build, configuration, migration, and operational transition activities.
- Monitor infrastructure and platform performance, availability, and security, resolving issues and implementing improvements where required.
- Collaborate with Microsoft, internal engineering teams, project stakeholders, and customers to deliver infrastructure and platform capabilities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, deployment guides, and support artefacts.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and architectural standards.
- Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and technologies.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Experience working across multiple Azure tenants and enterprise environments.

- Experience using Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting the transition of systems and services into production environments.

- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

- Experience working in Defence, Government, National Security, or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience supporting systems operating across multiple security classifications.
- 2-5 Years Cloud experience (minimum)

Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- Degree, apprenticeship, professional certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Security Requirements
- Must hold Security Check (SC) clearance as a minimum.
- Experience working within secure environments and across multiple security classifications is highly desirable.
