Job title: Data and Insights Senior Manager (Edgewing) Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible - please speak to your recruiter about the options for thisrole. Salary: £61,900 Dependent of skills and experience What you\'ll be doing: Conduct in-depth data analysis and extract meaningful insights aligned with business goals Collaborate with the Architecture Lead to design and implement data models for effective insight generation Contribute to the development of a long-term data strategy, focusing on maximising the value of data Guide and support data scientists in exploring both structured and unstructured data sources Identify, interpret, and model data trends across different areas of the business Stay informed on emerging tools and data techniques, and contribute to future planning of data capabilities Your skills and experiences: Essential Experience of leadership in Digital or data disciplines and of large teams University Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field Desirable Experience working with global partners A Data Science-related qualification such as Certified Analytics professional (CAS) or alternatively CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Data and Insights Team You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced team within the BAE Systems Air sector, committed to the delivery and progression of a Future Combat Air System (FCAS) for the UK. You will play a central role in working across a diverse stakeholder group of functional and delivery teams including tri national industry and government colleagues from across our partner nations to support the delivery of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).
