Salary: £61,110 + depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for the Test team, leading and co-ordinating the work to test ERP related applications and services.
  • Responsible for the quality, efficiency, and timely delivery testing activities as well as providing guidance and feedback to the team members.
  • You will be collaborating with the ERP Product Team managers and external stakeholders to align the goals and priorities of the teams with the overall vision and strategy of the department.
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures and overall information management strategy.
  • Provide well-informed advice, typically within a specific technical specialism, ensuring that it is properly understood and appropriately exploited, to enhance the effectiveness of significant activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of specific technical specialisms, providing detailed advice regarding their application, executing specialised tasks.

Your skills and experiences:

  • Essential: Experience and knowledge of the Software Development Process and Quality Assurance: Defining and enforcing software development methodologies, processes and standards to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects.
  • Experience of testing techniques and testing tooling.
  • The ability to manage a team of testers, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance evaluations and career development.
  • Desirable: Hold IT degree or business degree, experience in consultancy or people management position.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience e.g. HNC / Prince 2 Foundation / Computer Science Degree.

The Air ERP team:

This role is responsible for the design, build and testing of the IT solution components of the Air ERP Platform. All solution change will be delivered through this role which will significantly contribute to improving and enhancing the platform to meet the needs of the Air business. You will be part of the first line management team for the ERP Technical Delivery and Support organisation leading both the Design, Build and Test teams.
