The Systems Engineering team:
We are looking for experienced and dynamic Systems or Software Team Leaders to step up and provide coordination and strategy for execution of the Systems engineering in the Support and Industrialisation (S&I) or the Systems/Software engineering in the Airborne Controls product realisation groups (PRG) of the Rochester business. These roles will provide support to the functional department and projects by understanding the work package scope, scheduling, resources and strategy for development across the Systems and Software domains depending on which PRG you will work for.
Your role will stretch across the PRG working with Engineering Project Managers to broadly understand the near term work planned (3mth - 6mth) and longer term work planned (18mth - 24mth); what is critical path for the overall project; who is assigned to each task and whether we are able to pair Subject Matter Experts (SME) with developing Engineers to support Knowledge Management as we go. Uncover and communicate emerging issues with progress and investigate to determine whether they can be dealt with 'in-house'. You will define when and what help from other teams or parts of the business is recommended to enable dependencies or provide timely solutions.
