What you'll be doing:
- Leading the development, evolution, and governance of BAE Systems' brand and visual identity, aligning strategy with corporate objectives while managing brand reputation and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
- Providing central coordination and leadership to ensure consistent, effective implementation of brand and visual identity across all platforms, sectors, and Lines of Business.
- Developing and owning the Group content strategy and calendar, aligning content with business objectives, target audiences, editorial standards, and brand guidelines while coordinating closely with cross-functional communications teams.
- Leading end-to-end content production workflows across multiple formats, ensuring quality, compliance, budget and timelines, while using analytics to optimise performance and drive effective distribution to key stakeholders.
- Building, leading and influencing the Group Brand & Content team and a curated roster of external agencies, setting priorities, defining roles, and fostering collaboration to deliver best-in-class content and campaign objectives.
- Overseeing content production infrastructure, including creative asset management systems and brand tools, while managing budgets and optimising resources across internal and external teams to maximise impact and efficiency.
Your skills and experiences:
- Expert knowledge of brand and content principles, techniques and skills, with proven experience in content creation and editorial management roles within content marketing.
- High levels of creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging and effective content.
- Significant experience in implementing and delivering content-led marketing campaigns, events, activities to budget, time and quality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, proven track record of identifying innovative solutions and navigating complex, international environments.
- Expert in influencing and persuading through clear, concise communication and diplomacy, skilled at leading and inspiring teams, building relationships with stakeholders.
- Degree and/or relevant professional certificate or equivalent experience.
