Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager
Location: Newcastle – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £63000+ depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead on all aspects of Safety/Quality/Cost/Delivery & People (SQCDP), reviewing and improving functional policies, processes and reporting
- Lead team process conformance by continuously reviewing, challenging, and driving process improvements
- Establish, manage, and control all associated labour and material budgets, working in consultation with key stakeholders
- Ensure the team delivers relevant targets by regularly reviewing, reporting on progress and resolving issues
- Lead, develop and firmly embed engagement and communication strategies to ensure team, customer and stakeholder participation
- Lead by example in conforming to model behaviours, people and process management
- Instil a customer focused approach across all teams

The Supply Chain team:
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for all Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility (procurement, programme, strategy or business capability) in support of the Supply Chain Functional Plan at BAE Systems. You will undertake all line management responsibility for direct reports, including Health & Safety (in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures), Performance Management and management of behaviours in line with the united / professional culture derived by the business.
