Location: Barrow-in-Furness. (Full-time onsite, shift work)
Salary: £37,091 + 20% shift allowance depending on skills & experience
What you'll be doing:
- Performing complex and specialist quality inspection activities, applying expert knowledge within your specific quality discipline
- Undertaking complex and specialist Quality Inspection activities within their specialist Quality discipline
- Conducting conditions management and customer walk-round audits
- Performing quality activities in accordance with established processes and procedures, reviewing and updating them where necessary
- Using calibrated measuring equipment to verify product tolerances and record any non-conformances
Your skills and experience:
- Experience using and training others in the use of technology and tools applicable to the discipline
- Ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
- Effective stakeholder management
- Qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent experience (e.g. time served in trade discipline)

The Dreadnought Quality & Outfit Inspection Team:
You'll join an established, continuously evolving team at the forefront of Dreadnought submarine construction within the Devonshire Dock Hall. This is a unique opportunity to become part of the Quality team in a complex shipbuilding environment, using a wide range of inspection techniques and equipment to support the Dreadnought build programme and ensure the delivery of world-class Submarine capability to the Royal Navy. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
