Job Title: Senior Project Professional – Asset Management Location: Barrow-in-Furness – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: £38,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Performing intermediate project reporting & scheduling Attending on the job training as appropriate Managing the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project Applying appropriate PM methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches Agreeing project approach with stakeholders, and preparing realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracking activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives, supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation Your skills and experiences: Experience in major plant and equipment Experience in fabrication and manufacturing processes Understanding or project management tools and techniques (lifecycle management) Stakeholder management HNC qualification within engineering would be advantageous Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Heavy Engineering Site Disposal team: The team is responsible for the end-to-end project management of transferring and disposing of redundant assets. This involves collaborating with a vast number of stakeholders across various departments including corporate appointed auctioneers, supply chain, contractor management teams, finance and SHE. Our responsibilities also include organizing and deploying cranes, making this a dynamic and challenging role. There are opportunities for development within the role and gaining qualifications such as CDM (construction design management).
