What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and review all Beith raised S2022T defect reports to identify action to be taken, e.g. infeed to Broad Oak CRF for repair, FUR, hold at Beith, dispose.
- Interface with local TMS team for authority to dispose of hardware as required.
- Interface with DM Beith staff to ensure required paperwork is raised for CRF activities, FURs, hardware disposal, issue of hardware out with DM Beith.
- Management and co‑ordination of all equipment and hardware delivered to/from Beith/Broad Oak in accordance with delivery schedules enabling production activities at both sites to be completed as effectively as possible with improvements highlighted and implemented where possible.
- Book in hardware deliveries direct from suppliers to DM Beith via SAP as required, first ensuring all paperwork received is correct, if not liaise with the supplier to make necessary corrections, scan copies of receipt documentation onto SAP.
- Manage and monitor weapon movements as per Issue and Returns Programme and maintain configuration data.
- Act as prime point of contact for day to day local management of project activities at Beith (material/logistics queries).
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders (customers/suppliers/Broad Oak staff/DM Beith staff) maintaining regular communication and managing expectations.
Your skills and experiences:
- Extensive knowledge of stock accounting and configuration control tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Torpedo hardware.
- Good IT literacy with knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
- Defence, Manufacturing or Production background is preferred.

The Torpedo Repair and Maintenance Stock and Inventory team: As a Resident Materials & Logistics Co‑Ordinator you will manage and deliver all aspects of material movement between DM Beith and BAE Broad Oak and other major suppliers. You will be responsible for the management, scheduling and coordination of hardware and ensure the availability of material to maintain SFU MOD kit deliveries to programme.
