Salary: Up to £50,000 dependent on experience

Your new day-to-day will be exciting and diverse by applying the principles of Engineering across the entire engineering development lifecycle as you join in developing radar systems used by those who serve and protect us.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support RF circuit design including component selection, simulation, schematic capture and preparing guidance for PCB design teams
  • Support electromagnetic simulation and analysis
  • Contribute to design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques
  • Contribute to design documentation and technical reports
  • Support design evaluation and testing in our new engineering lab

Your skills and experience:

  • A degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject/industrial experience.
  • An appetite for learning business approaches and procedures including standards for governance and compliance

The BAE Systems Naval Radar team provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide. This role will provide engineering support as part of a team delivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy over the next 10 years. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within a global business.

Our workplace in Cowes is an easily accessible commute from Southampton with a regular foot passenger ferry and BAE shuttle service from the ferry terminal to site.
