Quality Engineer – Business Management Systems (Edgewing)
Location:
Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

What You\’ll Be Doing
- Support the deployment and configuration of the Business Management System including toolset deployment in the creation of a new project
- Support requirements relating to certification activities in support of the Business Assurance and Certification Team
- Have the ability to analyse data effectively identifying themes, trends and improvements
- Provide support to functions with Business Management System queries and problem resolution
- Champion the principles of the Business Management System including user training
- Support the business in determining process effectiveness measures
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience of managing a business management toolset (Proquis, Aris, GBTech or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of process definition and mapping BPMN 2.0 or equivalent
- Knowledge/education of Quality (AS9100, quality standards, etc.)
- Effective stakeholder management with the ability to advise and influence wider function stakeholders and quality director

- Quality Internal audit training or equivalent
