<p><strong>Job title:</strong> Quality Assurance Auditor</p><p><strong><strong>Location:</strong></strong> RAF Valley – Onsite only</p><p><strong><strong>Salary:</strong></strong> &pound;37,548+ (dependent on skills and experience)</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Provide support to BAE Systems Quality Assurance Manager – Hawk-UK and Assurance Quality Team Lead</li><li>Work to and support the implementation of the Quality Management System as required by BAE Systems AMCs, MAA Regulatory Article and Publications and ISO EN9100 Rev D Standards</li><li>Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement, implement best practice initiatives and business improvements</li><li>Liaise with customers and other contractors as necessary providing advice and guidance on Assurance queries as required</li><li>Monitor and propose amendments to AMCs to ensure they satisfy appropriate regulatory and Company requirements</li><li>Assist the team with customer complaints and corrective actions including, but not restricted to, Quality Occurrence Reports and Corrective Action Reports</li><li>Ensure that all audit reports and findings are completed and distributed within set timescales and any subsequent actions are tracked and hastened to meet set targets</li><li>Monitor the system tool sets used for audits (internal and external) and out of audit findings and maintain action progression within set timescales</li><li>Carry out administrative duties in relation to the Quality Management System e.g. Filing electronic documents, reporting, meetings, etc</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Your skills and experiences:</strong></strong></p><p>Essential:</p><ul><li>Demonstrable experience of working within an aviation environment and a sound knowledge of Quality Management and Aviation Safety Management Systems</li><li>Have a broad base QA experience of working with MoD, public or private commercial organisations</li><li>Knowledge of MAOS, MRP Part 145, Part M, ISO EN9100 Rev D and MAA Regulations</li></ul><p>Desirable:</p><ul><li>Qualified Auditor, ideally ISO 9001:2018 Lead Auditor is desirable</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Benefits:</strong></strong></p><p>You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. You will be required to conduct audits to assurance compliance within areas under the BAE Systems HISS Contract, produce audit reports and findings in accordance with BAE Systems Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC), MAA Regulatory Articles and Publications, and ISO EN9100 Rev D standards</p><p><strong><strong>Why BAE Systems?</strong></strong></p><p>This is a place where you'll be able to make a real difference.
