Management of an engineering programme or project consisting of a number of major engineering systems, disciplines, platform assemblies, equipment or software products

Management & integration of multi-disciplined engineering teams; leadership of engineering resources, delivery of packages of work/services, involving new products and/or complex upgrades, utilising new and existing technologies, requiring multiple interfaces with customers/suppliers or partners

Delivery of projects to meet customer and contractual obligations for cost, quality, timeliness and specification, resolution of engineering conflicts between disciplines, systems and capabilities

Integration and solution development to meet a coherent and prioritised set of demands, tailor and apply engineering processes, tools and approaches to develop innovative and creative solutions to contracts and specifications

Role typically is responsible for development and delivery of contracts (>£2m per annum, IBP value >£10m, resources >20 engineers) involving management of 2-3 teams

Provide accurate estimating, forecasting, tracking and status/progress reporting of engineering developments to the Project Manager, Simulation & Training (S&T) management and wider Maritime Services engineering function

A sound knowledge of complex software development and integration, together with some knowledge of IT systems development engineering principles

An understanding of development processes utilising multidiscipline teams involving eg concept/assessment, requirements analysis, system/sub-system design, software/hardware development, integration, acceptance and in-service support

The ability to plan multiple work programmes and balance resources across multiple contracts within sub-surface

Experience of working with senior level stakeholders (internally and externally) and ability to communicate programme issues confidently and clearly
Salary: £61,500 Depending on skills and experience, You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
