Job Description Job Title: Principal Product Safety Engineer n Location: Coventry – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role n Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience n n What you’ll be doing: n n Leading the derivation and manage Product Safety requirements derived from Product Safety hazard and risk identification n Working in accordance with Project Safety Management Plans n Influencing the development of a safe design, the Project Safety Case including logical technical safety arguments and Safety Case justification reports n Supporting hazard identification meetings and the maintenance of the project hazard log n Completing peer reviews, checking, verification and assurance tasks to demonstrate the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation n n Your skills and experiences: n Essential n n Understanding of engineering safety management processes, such as hazard analysis, logical safety arguments and safety case report n Reasonable understanding of safety within systems engineering – including establishment of good engineering requirements and how they will be delivered through engineering processes n Previous experience creating justification reports …
