What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained.
- Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards.
- You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system.
- You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system tests.
Your Skills And Experiences
- Experience of working within and the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145.
- Experience of working on complex military aircraft programmes.
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications.
- Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent.

The F-35 Maintenance team
The F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Team undertake a range of activities on F35 aircraft or aircraft components. This role is to work effectively within a team of 12 Maintainers, in a diverse and dynamic operational environment. This will involve construction of the approved Technical Information set and competence to work to maintenance instructions with support and in accordance with the organisation’s MOE.
