Salary: £39,301 plus 25% shift allowance
What you'll be doing:
- Site maintenance and installation activities
- Minor/major repairs
- Breakdown response and diagnostics to resolve manufacturing equipment issues
- Support to contractors during technical works
- Attendance at site operational meetings as required
- Execution of work orders from the site CMMS
- Update of work order details to maintain the asset database for the site on all works performed
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulation Qualification
- Time served Electrician (HNC/HND desirable)
- Working in a high paced manufacturing environment, typically on and around CNC machines
- Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, working at height, MEWP licence, confined space)
- Experience on CNC machines in an industrial background
Desirable:
- HV/LV Switching
- Testing and Inspection C&G 2391
- Industrial Robots (Fanuc/ABB)
- PLC Experience

Maintenance Team:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will carry out a varied range of electrical activities that protect the Washington site and ensure capability for manufacturing teams to perform their duties. This will include planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response/repairs and work requests. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a role where every day is different working on a variety of products. We have several vacancies available due to the continued expansion across our Land UK sites with BAE Systems securing new orders for the supply of munitions to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
