Salary: £47,683+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing the bill of material
- Maintaining design and engineering configuration control
- Identification of tooling and digital manufacturing process requirements
- Providing shop floor support to the manufacturing teams
- Embodying engineering and design changes
- Applying and supporting component condition of supply requirements all in line with the HS&E requirements and regulations
- Identifying product quality and cost saving opportunities
- Applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Management of junior members of staff
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience in Mechanical Process Planning in one or more areas of Assembly, Carbon Fibre Composites and Machining components
- HNC or higher level or recognised apprenticeship and experience of working as a Mechanical Process Planner in assembly and detail manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing processes and manufacturing experience in the aerospace (or equivalent standard) industry
- Engineering Toolset knowledge, CATIA V5, Siemens OpsCenter, PLM (or equivalent Product Data Manager), SAP CAMS or SFM (Shop Floor Manager), CDP and VAS
- Ability to manage unplanned events and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to manage projects to cost and schedule

The Manufacturing Engineering Team:
You’ll be joining our dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team, a key part of our wider engineering and manufacturing function. The team supports multiple current and future projects, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of exciting programmes depending on placement. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production engineering, quality, and project management. You’ll also engage with key stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality tooling solutions that support our complex production and assembly processes.
