Salary: £42,850 + depending on experience
Responsibilities- Assist in the rollout of new capability processes, frameworks, and standards across manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with organisational requirements and best practices.
- Coordinate training programs, workshops, and development activities (including logistics, scheduling, and tracking) maintaining accurate records of learning, capability assessments, and development plans.
- Contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of process documentation, guidance materials, work instructions, and supporting resources.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams, technical specialists, and functional leads to gather feedback, understand adoption challenges, and support successful implementation.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to capability processes, gathering performance data, and supporting compliance reviews or audits where needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing capability processes and support the development of improvements or refinements based on user feedback and operational needs.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and communication of capability deployment milestones, updates, and change impacts.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain manufacturing processes, learning and development and capability frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills for coordinating rollout activities, managing documentation updates, and tracking deadlines.
- Ability to identify and escalate issues early, propose pragmatic solutions, and contribute to process improvements.
- Interest in Lean, continuous improvement, or standardisation methodologies (even at a basic level).
- Any workforce development programme experience.

The Capability Support role is responsible for assisting in the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of new capability processes across the Manufacturing Function. Reporting to the Manufacturing Development Team Leader, the role will help ensure consistent, effective adoption of capability standards, tools, and methodologies throughout the organisation.
