Responsibilities
- Deliver the Site Engineering Transformation programme & manage the schedule.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Drive standardisation and optimisation of infrastructure engineering practices across departments.
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track progress and impact.
- Lead a small team of engineers.
Qualifications
- Nationally recognised higher qualification in a STEM subject (or equivalent through experience) and demonstrable line‑management capability.
- Proven experience in driving improvement and operational excellence, with expertise in Lean/Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred) or other improvement methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards and automated reporting from multiple data sources, leveraging advanced formulas and functions; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable
- Eligibility for or attainment of Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with a clear route to Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 Lead Auditor qualification.

Join the Site Engineering Governance & Assurance team and step into a role at the forefront of transformation across BAE Systems and the AUKUS programme. You’ll help deploy critical processes, gain exposure across all components within Site & Facilities, drive continuous improvement and accelerate your professional growth while engaging directly with senior stakeholders and shaping the future of engineering excellence. Relocation support packages are available for all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
