What you’ll be doing:
- During this 27‑month scheme you will be engaging with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels to deliver enhanced competitive and commercial performance within the contract framework.
- You will have opportunities to support supplier approvals and the onboarding process in collaboration with other functional support areas.
- You will learn about related commercial activity such as influencing policy, financial analysis, engaging in contract law and developing strategy to deliver services.
- You will be involved in work which could enable you to influence the decisions of others, including collecting and interpreting data to find trends and identifying ways to save money and improve efficiency.

- Procurement & Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard Level 4.
The Procurement & Supply Chain Apprenticeship is delivered by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) with a mixture of online and face‑to‑face sessions.

Export Control / Security:

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.

- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9‑4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English AND 72 UCAS points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level).
