Salary: Starting from £24,125 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will develop your knowledge, skills and experience across the estimating discipline and the wider commercial function.
- You will work on all aspects of cost estimating: bid‑related activity, ongoing contract management and outturn forecasting up to final pricing across the full life‑cycle management spectrum.
- You will support the end‑to‑end estimating processes and understand how they interact with the role.
- You will generate and populate cost models by collating and analysing data from multiple sources (e.g., actual business operating costs, national statistics or business rates) to support the business.
- You will develop labour and material cost models to support major programmes as they progress through the shipbuilding life cycle.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Project Management SCQF Level 8
- APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) at SCQF Level 7
Requirements
- 5 National 5s at Grade C or above, which must include Maths and English, plus 2 Highers (or equivalent) with English at grade C or above.
