What you'll be doing:
- Export Control Manager will be key contact for programme stakeholders.
- Collaborating and ensuring delivery of export control requirements to programme.
- Developing and supporting Export Control Officers in the delivery of programme export control compliance.
- Identifying issues arising and investigating, utilising a continuous improvement approach.
- Understanding business requirements, adapting and problem solving.
Your skills and experiences:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to suit the experience of audience.
- Proven Export Control and Compliance experience.
- Experience of working in a defence or other regulated business.
- Inquisitive self-starter with the ability to work independently.

The BAE Naval Ships Export Control team:
The team provide Naval Ships with its licence to trade. Without export control compliance a business cannot trade in the modern world on a global platform. The team ensures that the business has the relevant licences and procedures, complies with these and plans for future opportunities to allow it to deliver capability to the Royal Navy and other global customers. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance existing export control skills and knowledge across the combat systems platforms used in programmes such as the Type 26 Global Combat Ship under current construction.
