Description Job Title: Graduate Maritime Services Naval Architect
Location Portsmouth Naval Base (Hampshire)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Designing structural changes, including using FEA.
- Taking part in inclining experiments to assess the stability of ships.
- Contributing to stability analyses using specialist software.
- Contributing to the dry docking of ships.
- Helping inspect ships to understand their state of repair and come up with repair solutions.
Qualifications
Salary £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
Qualification requirements As a minimum requirement you\’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Naval Architecture/Ship Science/Maritime Engineering.
