Overview

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for creation of negotiation strategies, contract negotiations, Contract Review Board briefing packs, contract placement and post contract award handover.
  • Control of Request for Pricing (RFP) activities in accordance with appropriate legislation e.g. single source contracting.
  • Pre-qualification to the potential bidders, assist in evaluation of responses and prepare Bidders Lists, Lead Package kick off meetings/bid reviews & Assessment of RFP responses.
  • Lead Contract negotiations including Terms & Conditions, preparing all correspondence to suppliers and internal customers and prepare recommendation for award and Notice of Award.
  • Commercial management and execution of pre contracts, including management of supplier deliverables, contract change activities, ensuring the fulfilment of documented business Systems deliverables.
  • Development/delivery of management reporting.

Your Skills And Experiences:

  • Highly developed negotiation skills, including Terms and Conditions on complex technical procurement packages.
  • Knowledge of Contract Management best practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the legal environment related to purchasing contracts and framework agreements.
  • Good influencing skills and ability to work across geographically split teams and suppliers.
  • Expert at building supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will join a small team negotiating contracts with current suppliers for the next batch of vessel. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bids for new business.
