Job title: Senior Cyber Professional

Salary: £54,793 + dependant on experience
What you\’ll be doing:
- Champion Secure by Design (SbD), developing new approaches, relationships and supporting culture to achieve continuous assurance
- Support the Senior Lead and Head of Cyber Security to achieve team and organisational objectives
- Steer the development and delivery of cyber security offerings whilst working to define and implement SbD within FCAS, and across GCAP
- Maintain up to date knowledge of current and future threats along with new and emerging technologies, systems, methods, and capabilities to influence future strategies/working practices
- Support risk assessments and ongoing management, including cyber risks identified and owned by other teams
- Develop and maintain strong trusting relationships cross-functionally within FCAS and the newly established Joint Venture (JV), contributing to the establishment and long-term success of the GCAP
- Develop and maintain strong trusting relationships across the GCAP including Lead System Integrators (LSI) and Lead Sub-System Integrators (LSSI), international industry partners, and MODs
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Broad technical & security knowledge, including experience of application and cloud security
- Understanding of government and industry security policy, standards and best practice
- Experience defining and deploying cyber risk management strategies, and assessment methodologies. SbD experience a huge plus!
Desirable:
- Prior experience of working in a multi-national environment, preferably in Defence/Gov
- Experience managing, controlling and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences

We are recruiting into our Cyber and Information Security Team which supports the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Line of Business, and the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). It is an holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people and capabilities. As we continue to invest in new and innovative approaches to security, this team remains at the forefront of BAEs multinational, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
