What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering the Site Engineering Transformation programme & managing the schedule.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Driving standardisation and optimisation of infrastructure engineering practices across departments.
- Establishing performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track progress and impact of initiatives.
- Supporting in leading a small team of engineers.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Proven experience in driving improvement and operational excellence, with expertise in Lean/Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred) or other improvement methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and automated reporting from multiple data sources, leveraging advanced formulas and functions, with high-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Recognised higher qualification in a STEM subject (or equivalent through experience), coupled with demonstrable line management capability.
- Eligibility for or attainment of Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with clear route to attaining Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
- ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 Lead Auditor Qualified.
